# Chapter 29
I woke up when the warm rays of the sun caressed me. Wait a minute, sunshine? I always wake up before sunrise!
"Yes!"
Maybe my room was too comfortable? I should have been in the office by now!
I didn't have time to wash my hair, so I put it up with a bobby pin.
I need to get rid of these bangs. Why is there no dry shampoo here? I sighed and put on my red uniform skirt. Fortunately, it was a uniform, otherwise I would have been spoiled for choice.
“Heh, fortunately Olivia has a pretty face.”
If it was my old face, it would have been disastrous. I don't usually wear makeup, so I finished preparing quickly.
If I run now, I may narrowly avoid being late.
“Olivia, didn’t you go to work?”
When I ran up the stairs with my bag, Ruan was surprised.
“I slept a lot! Are these the medical books we talked about?”
“Yes, I thought you forgot it.”
I'm an ideal employee, right? I carry books even in this chaos!
“I'll go!”
"Careful! If you feel pain, come back early!"
Do I look sick to Rowan? My face is full of relief!
I opened the temple door to run, but a large cart blocked my way.
Who stops a car in front of the door?!
“You're out!”
“Mr. Felix?”
“His Highness has been waiting for a while.”
I looked at the carriage and saw Edmund's seal. Why is she here?
“Why are you here...?”
“You always go early, so why were you late today?”
Edmund opened the carriage window and grumbled.
“Have you been playing late?”
“No, I was just trying to catch up on sleep...but why are you here?”
“I wanted to discuss health insurance more. Um.”
He waited for me since the morning without knowing when I would come out?
I was confused, but I got into the carriage with Felix's help. At least I won't be late now!
What an opportunity!
“What are these books?”
“Books about the medical system. I will read them today to benefit.”
“The palace library has more diverse books.”
“I know, but...”
The palace library checks books when they are returned, which is annoying.
"Good."
We were silent together as if we agreed. The sound of horses' hooves was echoing. Crossing the square, I smelled bread from the partially open window. I forgot breakfast in my haste.
rumbling-!
I was surprised by the sound of my stomach growling and clutched my stomach.
Did he hear him? He definitely heard it!
I looked at him furtively, but he was turning the papers expressionlessly. I don't know if he heard him or not.
rumbling-!
My stomach brazenly announced its presence again.
I fiddled with the soft seat of the stroller and decided to take the initiative.
“I didn't have breakfast, so I'm hungry. Haha.”
But Edmund didn't reply, as if he didn't care about my stomach. Why did he come then?
“So, what do you want to discuss?”
I tried to break the silence with another question.
He looked at me slowly with his red eyes, his face shining in the morning light.
"What?"
“You said you wanted to discuss health insurance, don't you have any questions?”
Edmund coughed and turned his head to the window.
“Your Highness?”
“You brought books for reference, didn't you? You're going to change the plan, so I'd better ask later.”
correct. I nodded and opened a book. In the temple carriages, reading is dizzying, but the palace carriage is comfortable, and the letters are unwavering.
But I soon regretted it.
The distance between the temple and the palace is not far, so we arrived quickly.
I had barely started reading when we arrived.
“Get down here.”
Edmund parked the carriage in the back garden instead of the office.
“What? If you’re going to give me a ride, park it in front of the office!”
“People will see you.”
Edmund's forehead was full of wrinkles.
Is my delivery annoying him?
But I got off happily because I had avoided delay thanks to the carriage.
"Yes!"
But my enthusiasm was a problem. I didn't know that the stairs were high, so I sprained my ankle.
“Little girl, are you stupid?”
"I'm not stupid! I'm not young!"
I was moving excitedly, and this happened! I tried to stand up out of embarrassment, but the pain prevented me.
“This appears to be a ligament injury.”
Felix muttered as he looked.
The pain is increasing, the sprain is definitely severe. I took off my socks and saw that my ankle was swollen and red.
“There is no healthy part of your arms or feet.”
Are you making fun of me now? I stared at Edmund, but I couldn't continue staring after our eyes met, so I sighed and slowly got up.
I can stand with time.
“I'll go to the emergency room first.”
“Why?!”
I felt a cold leather glove on my wrist as I went limp.
"Because I'm injured. Isn't that why the room was created?"
Had not Gallerhead been employed for this purpose instead of the palace physician?
“I'll get the bandages.”
"What?"
Why?
“Medical Insurance Project! You said you would finish it after reading the books, shouldn’t you write it quickly?”
He screamed like a child demanding candy.
What is this? This is not like him.
“But if you sprain your ankle once, it will happen again...”
I remembered Galerheid's words yesterday.
"Olivia's right. It might look like a ligament injury, but it could be a bone injury, so it should be checked by a professional."
When Felix added, Edmund couldn't be more stubborn.
“Do whatever you want!”
He frowned and quickly headed to the office.
“His personality has become worse recently.”
Why is he the hero? If Gallerhead was the champion, it would be even better.
***
Kind, smart, and handsome, though not as beautiful as Edmund.
I looked at Galerhead as he carefully examined my ankle.
His shiny silver hair, his healthy bronze skin, his long eyelashes, and his high nose. From above, he looked even more handsome.
“Fortunately, the bone was not injured.”
Gallerhead grabbed my ankle with his large hand, spun it around, and then wrapped it in a warm towel.
"Really? That's good."
I was afraid of a break due to the swelling.
“Stay like that for a while.”
Gallerhead began grinding the herbs, then placed them on my swollen ankle and wrapped them carefully. I felt as cool as a cooling patch.
“I took off the shoulder bandages, and now I wrap my ankles?”
“Huh, yeah.”
How did I sprain my ankle while jumping out of the cart? Am I really getting young?
"I finished."
"Thanks!"
I felt less pain with the bandages.
“Stay strong today.”
With Gallerhead's gentle encouragement, I reached the office with lighter steps.
But the atmosphere was strange. Edmund's angry voice, the staff's wary looks, and Eclat bending over in front of Edmund.
