# Chapter 26
“Gallerhead, see you tomorrow! Come on, Your Highness!”
I did not forget to greet Galerhyde and followed Edmund.
I ran hard, Edmund looked at me and then suddenly stopped.
“You run hard with those short legs.”
“Not short!”
I stood next to him, panting, and he resumed walking, but slowly this time, which made it easier for me to keep up with him.
“By the way, I forgot to say...”
Edmund looked at me from above. Ah, that height difference is a little dramatic.
He seems to be interested in me lately, let's try confessing instead of asking on a date!
"I love you."
“Huh…”
Edmund held his forehead and looked around.
Why does he act like this?
“Please, stop.”
"Yes?"
Edmund looked at me with an annoyed expression.
“No matter how many times you confess, I will never accept your confession.”
“Ah…”
Why suddenly?
I didn't like him before, but he never rejected me so clearly. He was just ignoring me.
Will it be served with Ecla during my absence? Did they develop together while working, as in the novel?
“I won't care about you no matter what.”
Because I didn't answer, Edmund repeated forcefully.
“I will continue to confess!”
I shouted, but he continued walking without answering. Felix quickly followed after looking at me.
What suddenly happened to him?!
No matter how many times you reject me, I...
I must win your heart.
I don't want to die!
A bullet in my body and soul being eaten by a demon? This is so horrible! What did you do?
It's all my fault that I died reading a novel! I suddenly felt sad.
I miss my mother. I thought about the university I was accepted to but didn't go to.
“Boohoo!”
I suddenly cried when I thought of my mother, and a white handkerchief appeared in front of me.
"Help yourself."
It was Gallerhead.
“Why are you crying?”
I did not take the tissue, so he carefully moved his hand and wiped away my tears, gently without rubbing.
"Are you well?"
“Um, yes.”
When I turned around because of my runny nose, he put the handkerchief in my hand.
“There's no need to bring it back.”
His kind words made me cry even more. Looks like my mom. If Gallerhead had been “the master,” it would have been much better.
“Come on, wipe your nose.”
I blew my nose into the handkerchief as he said, and I calmed down a little. I felt embarrassed after that. Why did I cry?
“Are you feeling better?”
"Yes. I'll throw away the handkerchief and buy a new one."
Can't say I'll wash it!
“Haha, it can be washed.”
Gallerhead stroked my cheek carefully. His white cotton gloves were soft, unlike Edmund's cold leather gloves.
“Sh, thanks.”
“You're welcome. A real doctor takes care of a patient's heart too.”
He gave me a small piece of chocolate.
“Sweets make you feel better, don't they?”
Wow, this guy is so sensitive!
“You look beautiful when you smile.”
He peeled the chocolate off and gently placed it in my mouth.
Today, from wound treatment to handkerchiefs and chocolates, I receive a lot of Gallerhead.
“I'll return the favor later.”
“Okay, I don’t refuse.”
He touched my head once and left.
He's so cute. He seems like he would be perfect as a pediatrician.
I went back to the office, but the problem was working alongside Edmund after all that crying.
This is how bad relationships at work are, even though I'm not in a relationship.
It doesn't matter, everyone in the office knows I get rejected every day.
I opened the door determinedly, but Edmund was not there.
“Olivia, can you do this?”
Ikla passed some papers to me as I sat down.
“Sorry, I have new business to arrange.”
“Oh, really?”
Her eyebrows furrowed.
“Ecla, if you take the work from His Highness, you must do it yourself. If you can’t, don’t take more than you can afford!”
Natasha started to moan from the front.
Even the calm Margot added: “That's right, Olivia is His Highness's assistant, not yours.”
I just wanted to write down the idea of health insurance and deliver it. Why did the atmosphere become like this?
“Calm down, everyone.”
Campbell tried to calm the situation.
“We'll fight like this.”
“Okay, Ecla, I will help you after this.”
I added because I felt like the atmosphere was getting weird because of me.
Natasha did not hide her exasperated expression and resumed work.
I will talk to her calmly later.
“Well, I was in a hurry.”
Ecla readily apologized.
“Sorry, Olivia. While you were gone, I took over your work, so I got excited.”
“It's okay, thanks for taking over my business.”
But I'm the help, and I don't want my work taken away.
I set clear boundaries, and Natasha nodded and winked.
I thought the weather would improve, but...
Edmund suddenly entered, and the atmosphere froze.
Oh my God, I forgot about him!
***
“Your Highness.”
Felix called out, but Edmund didn't stop.
“Olivia looks like she's crying.”
"I know."
Even from this distance, he could hear her wailing.
“Did you have to reject her so harshly?”
“Were there many people in the corridor?”
“About five.”
“Will the rumor go away?”
Edmund muttered.
“Did you reject her to stop the rumours?”
Edmund did not answer, but looked away for a moment.
“What if her wound opens from crying too much?”
Felix almost said, “No way,” but he endured.
“Then go console her.”
Thus, his director's love project is doomed to failure.
“What if someone sees us and another rumor arises?”
Edmund fiddled with his hair nervously, his straight hair becoming tangled for the first time.
“You were walking around looking scary, and everyone ran away.”
Edmund suddenly stopped and turned around.
“You should have said that sooner.”
He quickened his steps.
“Felix, do you have a tissue?”
“Yes, but don't you have one?”
Felix took out a handkerchief, and Edmund snatched it up and said, “With the little one’s personality, she’s obviously going to cry and have a runny nose.”
“This is from my wife… Hey, Your Highness!”
Felix followed Edmund, but suddenly stopped.
“Your Highness, why… Ah, Galerhead.”
As Felix said, the corridor was quiet, which made the scene between them seem softer.
The afternoon light shone as if to bless them, and the white curtains fluttered in the breeze, decorating the scene like a painting.
Gallerhead laughed gently as he stroked Olivia's cheek. Edmund felt pain at the sight of her red eyes.
He wiped away her tears with a tissue, and her voice trembled as she avoided his eyes with reddened cheeks.
Olivia smiled happily at the sight of the chocolate, it looked even more attractive, making Edmund's heart shake.
He thought she was beautiful, but hearing compliments on her appearance from another man ruined his mood.
Edmund became angry when Gallerhead put the chocolate into her mouth, his fingers touching her lips.
They laughed together, and the napkin in Edmund's hand wrinkled.
Even after Gallerhead left, Olivia kept looking at his back, and Edmund looked at her with a cold look.
“Your Highness.”
“No need for this handkerchief.”
Edmund threw the handkerchief on Felix's chest and turned around.
"To where?"
“Training arena.”
"Why? We have a meeting soon!"
Edmund did not answer, but quickened his steps.
