# Chapter 21: 21
Viscountess Anton put aside her doubts and spoke softly to comfort Margaret, lightly stroking the other woman's arm.
—It would be fine if you did that.
-Of course. I will do exactly that.
As she listened to the other wives, Margaret laughed inwardly.
To her, Radis's reputation (and his entire future, in fact) was no more important than a blemish on his eyes.
Therefore, she was blameless.
She was much more concerned about protecting David and his name.
To the point that Radis didn't really mean anything to her.
When the conversation calmed down for a moment, Jurich tugged on Margaret's sleeve.
—Mom, mom!
—Oh, my daughter! What's the matter?
—Look at Radis there.
With his fan, Jurich pointed to the corner of the banquet hall near the women's bathroom.
Radis was alone among the pillars, far away from other people.
When they looked carefully at what he was doing, they saw that he was looking towards the second floor balcony.
Margaret snorted.
—Aren't you ashamed? Do you think you can seduce someone with that appearance?
Jurich covered his face with both hands.
—Ah! What a shame!
—Others are ashamed of her, but she herself is very shameless.
Margaret's eyes shone with joy as she glanced at the banquet hall. He stroked Jurich's head and then spoke.
—Go and meet your friends.
—And you, mom?
Margaret's eyes shone insidiously.
—I'll give you a taste of reality.

"The Russell family conducts subjugations regularly, but sometimes their knights are sent as reinforcements for imperial subjugations. Will they be there? Of course, they wouldn't know me now, but maybe I could join the subjugation. It's not that there were no women at all. If I could see that person and take the test..."
Radis looked around for a familiar face, but her expression hardened when she noticed Margaret, her lips curled into a wide smile, walking towards her.
And next to Margaret, a man escorted her.
Maybe they were talking about Radis.
—She's here now, but since the moment we separated, she can't socialize at all. That girl has many shortcomings.
—Haha, that's how most young girls are.
—Will you accompany Radis, Huber?
—It is an honor for me.
Margaret approached Radis and stared at her. He grabbed Radis's arm as tightly as he could and then quickly whispered:
—What are you doing right now?
-Nothing.
"What do you mean by nothing?"
With a distorted expression, Margaret exclaimed.
"Do you think I don't know what you have in mind?" You look like a woman from the street as you look up at the second floor with the eyes of a slut!
Radis frowned at the unexpected insult.
She looked a lot towards the second floor, but she wasn't the only one. In fact, most of the people gathered on the first floor were looking up.
In particular, there were many young ladies buzzing below the balcony hoping to see even a shadow of the third prince.
Including Jurich.
Radis shook off Margaret's hand and was about to scream.
—What did I do...?!
Margaret covered Radis's lips.
"Don't you dare humiliate me here!"
Radis also shook off that hand.
But he couldn't say anything more to Margaret. A little further away, Huber watched them with curiosity.
Margaret spoke as if she were sincerely advising him.
—Wake up and face reality. That boy is perfect for you. It's my gift to you because you looked very alone.
-Gift?
Margaret grabbed Radis's forearm as if she wanted to tear it off.
Then, in a very low voice, he whispered.
—There is a rumor that he is quite rich despite his appearance. Isn't this too good to be true for you? Good luck. You never know, maybe you can marry a rich man who doesn't need to receive any dowry. If so, then I will finally feel rewarded for having a daughter like you.
During Margaret's verbal abuse, Radis turned pale and then pulled her toward Huber. He disappeared with a huge smile on his lips.
“Is that really something a mother would say?”
As he watched Margaret's figure walk away, Radis shook his head.
—No, I don't need to be hurt again.
Then Huber confronted her.
—Wow, wow. I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Huber Cradium.
Radis turned his gaze towards the man.
—That guy Huber is here too.
She knew him.
Of course, it was someone twenty-six-year-old Radis knew, not sixteen-year-old Radis.
As he remembered it, he almost snorted.
