# Chapter 31
It wasn't half past lunch yet, so the office was completely empty.
“Haha, I can do it!”
I shouted this and picked up the pen.
The popular group is only an independent group, so it is not protected by law.
In fact, when researching history, there have been crimes committed in the name of popular groups.
Even a popular band made up of outsiders should be able to protect themselves, right? If public authorities could control it, wouldn't that be enough?
How can we satisfy the pride of the guards while addressing the problems of popular disunity? Wouldn't the solution be to make the Popular Division affiliated with the Guardians Organization?
I wrote a document to restructure the organization while laughing alone.
If I offered a solution to this problem after health insurance, wouldn't Edmund at least value me more than Ecla? My thoughts swirled in an enthusiastic positive circle.
I completed the day's tasks and in my free time wrote reports to present to Edmund.
After completing all the documents, it is almost time to end the shift.
As everyone prepared to leave, Dante and I gave Edmund a report on the work we had accomplished today.
After organizing the meeting minutes and reporting on the ongoing projects, Edmund wiped his tired face with his hand.
“Well, it can end like this.”
Fortunately, there were no modifications.
Since he seems to be in a good mood, is it time to submit the restructuring proposal you wrote today?
“Dante, we will restructure the guards organization, so have the relevant documents ready by tomorrow.”
Edmund gave Dante an order, and it was the same order I had thought of.
This was an opportunity to earn points!
I held back my laughter and extended the documents I had held.
"What is this?"
“Restructuring proposal.”
At my words, Edmund quickly flipped through the documents.
Dante looked sideways and admired it.
“I was wondering what you were passionately working on, so this is it!”
“Yes! The militias that Ikla talked about, I think they are a very wonderful idea, and it would be a shame to abandon them.”
Edmund seems to think likewise, even if he says nothing.
“I think the best way is to make them a special unit of the guards, so I formulated this proposal. I didn’t know that Your Majesty thought the same!”
Edmund and Eclat previously said they had considered a militia as well.
What if Edmund felt a fateful pull towards Ekla because of this?
If so, this could become an obstacle to winning Edmund's heart.
“Isn’t this proof that Your Majesty and I are destined for each other?!”
I deliberately raised my voice.
“Haha, I love you, Your Majesty!”
This ended the daily declaration of love. I'm a woman who gets recognition and work done in one go, really great.
I looked at Edmund proudly, but his expression was strange. Rather, he was stubborn.
“Huh.”
Edmund threw the documents I had provided on the table and said, “Olivia.”
"Yes?"
I expected praise, but the words that came out of his harsh mouth were cold.
“Did what I said yesterday sound funny?”
"… What?"
“Didn’t I tell you that I wouldn’t care about you even if you died?”
Edmund repeated what he said yesterday without missing a word.
But his memory is not that strong.
“However, didn’t I clearly say that I would confess my love?”
It seems he doesn't even remember what I said.
“From the beginning, I told you that I would confess my love once a day!”
I'm not begging to be together, I'm just expressing my feelings! He hasn't said anything yet, so why is he suddenly acting like this since yesterday?
I swallowed nervously under his harsh red gaze and looked away.
It was time to leave, but the atmosphere became tense, no one could get out and they were looking at us warily.
Even people from other departments were looking at us from the open door because of the loud sound.
“Your Majesty, I…”
To calm the situation down a little, I gently grabbed his sleeve. This seemed to upset Edmund greatly.
"Please stop! How many times do I have to say that I am not interested in a girl like you, even if just a little? Isn't it time to give up on this after all this neglect?"
He pushed my hand away, and I staggered, confused.
As I had felt during the short run earlier, Olivia's body was completely lacking in agility.
I was unable to regain my balance, so I fell sideways and hit my forehead on the edge of the table.
“Ah…”
The pain was intense. I touched my forehead and felt something flowing, and my hand was stained with blood.
“Oh my God, Olivia, are you okay? Let’s go to the medical unit.”
Natasha, who had been monitoring the situation, ran over and offered me a tissue and supported me.
“Ah, yes...”
I pressed the wound with Natasha's handkerchief and looked at Edmund.
Shouldn't he at least apologize for causing the injury?
Shouldn't he at least look guilty?
But Edmund stood there looking at me with cold eyes.
Am I so hated?
He doesn't even apologize after he hurt me?
I wasn't a person who cried often, but tears were building up in my eyes again.
I didn't expect that winning someone's heart would be this difficult.
I felt insulted.
Currently, Edmund is the closest to being the master. Of course, he may not be the master, but if I had to go through this with every candidate for the master, what would I do?
“Oh my God, Olivia, are you in so much pain?”
Natasha was confused, so I shook my head.
“It doesn't hurt, really, not even a little.”
My forehead didn't hurt.
Is this a punishment because I was conceited even though I had not even experienced first love?
“Natasha, why are there no books that teach how to win the hearts of others?”
If it had been in a book, I would have learned well.
“Because this is not taught theoretically.”
“True, isn't it?”
I nodded to Natasha's words and headed to the medical unit.
It seems I must accept my fate of death.
